If you have 26 minutes with nothing to do, watch this video. It is an interview that was aired on educational television in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was a very nice experience and I am thankful for the opportunity to promote my time-travel, historical, romance trilogy.
I want to celebrate the publication of the last book of my time-travel trilogy by offering Legacy of Time free for one week. When Kindle Direct Publishing cooperates with me, it will happen and I will announce the free promotion. I am getting great reviews on book three. My favorite is from a school teacher. “Riveting! I did not want to do anything until I finished reading the book.” I am also being asked about the cover of my book. “Is the man on the cover a movie star?” No, but I think my cover is fabulous.
Receiving great reviews on the final book of the trilogy. Will be selling all three books in Denham Springs on April 27, 2013. If you would like to order any books, go to their individual pages on this website and either click the PayPal information or mail your info along with your check to me and I will mail them out to you.
The book is fresh from the printer. Yeah! It only took me 18 months to get it done. Visit the page with the title of Legacy of Conflict for a look at the first pages. I am taking orders for my limited print run, so get yours while it is available. I guarantee you will like it.
Okay readers, book three is finally written and is being formatted for printing as I write this. I can’t believe all of the obstacles that were placed in my way, keeping me from getting this book done. Personal surgery with major complications plus family members having pneumonia, lung disorders, and a stroke. Add months of research and confusion about how to write a book with several characters and you get the reasons why it took me an additional six months to get this completed. I appreciate your patience and hope that the wait will be worth it once you get your book. This is the photo that will be used for the cover. I love this picture.
Happy July. Someone asked me about book three and I told them I had written through January 1863 and she said she had no clue what that meant. The book ends in April 1865, so I am at least half done. I need a favor from my readers. Is there any story line from the first two books that you feel needs resolving? If so, please drop me an email. I don’t want to leave anything undone.
On a personal note, I celebrate my birthday at the end of this month. Despite the hot weather, I hope everyone enjoys their summer. More later, Ann
A lot has happened since my last post, unfortunately, most of it was bad. Early February, my cousin, Len, had a stroke and needed a lot of care. My mother and I got him settled into a nursing home in late February. With daily visits to him and trying to keep my 83 year old mother healthy, March was gone before I knew it. The good parts of my story are that my nursing organization held its yearly conference in New Orleans at the end of March and I sold 54 books! I am still hoarse from all of the promotions. March 31st, I sailed away from all the sickness for seven days on a cruise with my favorite band–Ryan Foret and the Foret Tradition. A great time was had by all. Of course, I came home to more sickness with Len going back into the hospital with pneumonia and my mom getting a very bad cold. To date, I have about 15,000 words written on “Legacy of Conflict.” (Did anyone notice the new and improved title? Thanks Arlette Cheramie for your suggestion.) I will try my very best to write this book in a timely fashion as I have a lot of readers begging for it. I do not want to disappoint anyone, including myself.
Schedule of 2012 dates to remember: April 28, Denham Springs from 9 am to 5 pm; May 18, 19, and 20th in Belle Chasse at the Seafood Fest; June 23-24, in Houma for the Marketplace Festival; Labor Day weekend in Morgan City at the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival; and September 22 at the Chapelle Fall Festival.
Keep reading as I plan to keep writing!
